Step 1: Clean the pre-used coffee capsule
At first clean your pre-used Nespresso capsule before using it again. You will need a paring knife to clean the capsule perfectly.
Take a paring knife and bring out the coffee ground from the pods. Afterward, rinse the pods frequently to ensure no debris is left in it.
Don’t forget to dry the coffee pod. It’s the crucial step for cleaning the capsule of the coffee properly.
Step 2: Refill the capsule with the espresso ground coffee
So, your capsule is ready for filling the Nespresso coffee. What is your favorite grinded coffee? Pick your favorite espresso coffee and refill the capsule with it.
Don’t choose the excess large or small coffee for filling the capsule. Although this size is perfect, more making the normal coffee, yet unsuitable for the capsule coffee.
Therefore, grind the large coffee perfectly with the grinder machine. But the better decision would be purchasing the ground coffee for use in the capsule.
Step 3: Drop the excess coffee from the pod
If you have taken excess coffee in the pod, drop the excess portion. Make the upper side of the coffee pod plain to pack the ground espresso coffee tightly.
Step 4: Cover the capsule with an aluminum foil
Now, it’s time to pack the coffee pod tightly. For that, you will need aluminum foil paper, which 46 diameters round.
However, make sure the foil paper is not too large or small. The large foil paper will fail to cover the coffee pod entirely. As a consequence, the hot water from the coffee machine might leak around the package.
Conversely, if the foil paper is too small, you might fail to cover the coffee pod. Follow our measurement and bring the aluminum foil into that size.
Step 5: Place the foil onto the right place
Choose a light-duty foil paper to cover your coffee capsule. That’s because the heavy-duty aluminum paper doesn’t give such a fruitful result to hold the coffee pod tightly.
It will cause leakage of the grinded coffee from the capsule if you cannot pack it tightly. So, choose the chocolate wrapping paper to cover the coffee pod. These are light-duty aluminum foil; hence it will give you a good outcome.
Place the foil paper at the right place to ensure no leakage occurs from the pod. Attach the coffee pod with the foil by keeping it in the middle of the foil.
Use your fingernail when wrapping the upper side of the pod with the foil cover.
Step 6: Place the capsule into the Nespresso machine
Gently keep the coffee-filled capsule into the right place of the Nespresso machine to make coffee. A completely refilled pod makes a good shot of coffee.
Place a coffee cup under the right place of the coffee machine and start the machine’s switch. Within a few minutes, you will get your favorite shot of coffee with the reused coffee pod.
After making the coffee, you will get back the capsule from the machine. So, you can use the capsule again for making coffee by following our procedures from step one.
